Meet Carrie Ann Ryan

Carrie Ann Ryan is a bestselling paranormal and contemporary romance author. After spending too much time behind a lab bench, she decided to dive into the romance world and find her werewolf mate – even if it’s just in her books. Happy endings are always near – even if you have to get over the challenges of falling in love first.

Her first book, An Alpha’s Path, is the first in her Redwood Pack series. She’s also an avid reader and lover of romance and fiction novels. She loves meeting new authors and new worlds. Any recommendations you have are appreciated. Carrie Ann lives in New England with her husband and two kittens.

Julie: Welcome, Carrie. To get us started can you tell us a little about what you are working on or have coming out?

Carrie: Hi Julie! Thanks for having me! I’m actually working on so much it’s really crazy. Today is actually the release day of CHARMED SPIRITS, the first book in my Holiday, Montana series. Then I’ll be releasing a book a month until July O_o. Yes. I’m actually that crazy. My next release is ENFORCER’S REDEMPTION, the highly anticipated Redwood Pack book 4. Adam’s book is soooo ready for y’all!

Julie: How would you describe yourself using only five words?

Carrie: Perky, Short, Crazy, Organized, Ready

Julie: I love reading the warnings on the blurbs for many books. If you could write a warning label for yourself as a person or an author, what would it say?

Carrie: LOL. I love them too! Warning: Contains one perky blonde who can’t reach the top of her shelves, loves alpha men, and has strange voices in her head that speak wolf.

Julie: Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Carrie: Reading. *sigh* I think I’m a book hoarder…and I’m okay with that.

Julie: Name one thing readers would be surprised to know about you.

Carrie: I also have a degree in Chemistry and used to do that before becoming a full time author.

Julie: How do you get yourself in the mood to write?

Carrie: Music and forcing myself. I actually don’t like to start writing because a blank screen turns me off. LOL. But once I sit down and force those first 200 words I can’t stop. What’s odd is that the voices in my head are going ALL THE TIME, yet starting to write is hard for me most days.
