Putting faith in their newfound alliance is key if they hope to survive the betrayal that cuts deeper than they could imagine.
Sexy alpha shifter hero + smart and sassy demon empath heroine + creative and exciting steampunk world = a fun, exciting, dangerous and emotional read. Ms. Rhys has created a dynamic and sinfully delicious world with characters that made me feel their passion and emotion along with them. The curse that Sacha has to deal with made me really feel her hurt and loneliness as she accepts her fate and the “affection” from the least objectionable available choice. Watching as she finds a way to not only step away from that security and run into the arms of a man who she can trust and find love with made this book more than an entertaining read for me.
