Rachel’s Inheritance is one of those sweet, but passionate fantasy stories that will sweep a reader off her feet. It’s a contemporary story with a bit of a fairytale paranormal mixed in. I really enjoyed the heroine because she seemed so real. Her thoughts were real and she was one of those women who would be a great friend. She loved her family and had gone through the heartache of several losses. The hero was sweet, demanding and sexy. I even enjoyed the maid. We didn’t get to know much about her but she came off as endearing and kind. You will also find some really interesting twists in this story and the author leads us into knowing a second book will be written. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and seeing whom the other 3 brothers will end up with.
Rachel has inherited her great aunt Geraldine’s manor house. Rachel’s fondest memories are of when she and her grandmother took a trip to France and stayed at the manor. At that time she spotted four large stone creatures on the building. At first she thought they were angels but it was explained to her that they were gargoyles. The story goes that each is a prince.
Years later when she inherits the house she goes there to get away. All of her family is now gone. She has a very sexy dream about a man, but thinks there is just no way that he is also the stone statue. Will Rachel be the one a gargoyle comes to love? Can she break the curse for one lucky prince?
