While this story has a lot of action, I feel it is more of an inspirational read because the characters have a lot of growth throughout the book. Tess is deciding what to do if she doesn’t return to work and Jack has to decide whether it is time to settle down or keep his bachelor ways. As they get to know one another, their lives mesh and they grow in many ways. The characters in this book are captivating to read because each one has a story to tell that gets more interesting the farther along in the book you get. I absolutely loved this book. It kept me guessing until the very end when all was revealed. I just wish it was a bit longer to elaborate on the ending.
