Why do readers love All Romance eBooks? For one, ARe is one of the few retailers that offers great rebates on the authors you love. You’ll find thousands on thousands of titles from some of the top romance publishers, in just about every genre. Purchasing books from our site is so easy, and if you want to gift a book to a friend you can do so with a click of the mouse. We’re also the only site that gives romance lovers their own social network for discussing favorite authors and books. That’s why we we’re looking for a new reviewer for our team to help ARe Cafe visitors add to their TBR piles.
Each week we offer top picks and recommended reads in contemporary, paranormal, M/M romance, and IR/MC romance, but we realize we’ve neglected the historicals. With the rise in Steampunk releases, as well as the continuing popularity of Regencies, Old West romances, and stories featuring hot, muscled Highlanders who look incredible in their kilts, and leave you wondering what’s under… sorry, getting a bit off track here. Anyway, ARe Cafe is looking for a fabulous book reviewer to help us find the best of the best in historical fiction.
What You Need To Do: As an ARe Cafe reviewer, you will have access to recent releases in the Historical genre at All Romance and OmniLit. After reading through your allotted list for the month, you will select one Top Pick from the group and four additional Recommended Reads and submit your reviews to Cat Johnson. If you’re not sure how to craft a review for us, no worries. Cat will orient you to the ARe style when you are hired.
You will read and review only books made available from your own columnist bookshelf here at ARe, since all reviews are for books available in our stores. In addition to the Cafe, your reviews will be distributed in our Wildfire newsletter.
Who You ARe (pardon the pun): The ideal candidate for this job must love love love historical novels and must be able to commit to producing five reviews a month. It is okay if you review for other sites (some of our current reviewers do so elsewhere), but the books you review for ARe will come from our inventory. It is not necessary to have prior experience reviewing books, but in the interest of preventing any conflicts of interest, we would prefer to hire a reviewer who is not also an author.
If you are interested in writing reviews for the ARe Cafe, we welcome you to contact us for your information. Please include any samples of reviews you have written, and you may also let us know of any blogs or review sites where you have reviewed books.
Thanks!
