Happy June! Still amazed that half the year is already gone, but my TBR stack continues to touch the ceiling. It could grow even larger now that Dear Author has launched a new site tracking new releases in a variety of genres. I can already sense my wallet gasping for air.

- Amazon was granted a patent on electronic gifting of digital products, including eBooks. Now, it’s not uncommon for eBook retailers to offer gifting options, but Amazon’s patent includes the ability for the benefactor to delay payment if the gift is not accepted.
- Many readers may like this new feature, but there’s at least one bookseller in the UK who’s called for a Kindle ban, calling them “the enemy.”
- If you live in Brevard County and want to read Fifty Shades of Grey, you’ll be happy to know the library has restocked their copies.
- Lastly, don’t forget that all Ellora’s Cave titles come with a 30% rebate at All Romance happening right now. Stock up for the summer!
