Author Alessia Brio has won awards for her writing. Two of her titles were chosen as Top Picks by RT Book Reviews Magazine, and the non-profit publishing company she runs, Coming Together, has raised thousands of dollars for various charities. Recently, she and her writing partner Will Belegon launched Purple Prosaic, LLC, through which they have released previously published and original stories. Xavier’s Loving Arms by KT Grant is a great contemporary interracial romance with a well written story and very likeable characters. Noteworthy are the many relevant issues the story features such as bulimia and its long term effects and the crippling effects of debt. I’m sure many readers can relate to Rebecca’s character because of not just her medical but her financial issues as well.
