I liked ninety-nine percent of this book, because the premise had exactly what I was looking for. We have Gareth, the tormented hero. He’s just been dumped and he’s a “lone wolf”. He’s not in a pack anymore because he’s too alpha to take orders, but doesn’t want the responsibility of being the alpha. He’s also tired of sharing his girlfriends with his pack brothers.
