The story begins with Catherine, governess to the nephew of Lord Montmoor, in the midst (literally) of being drowned ...more

She had agreed to participate in the historical re-enactment at the Alamo only because of Rachel, even though the historically accurate costume was uncomfortable and cumbersome. Taking her place near the entrance, she waited for the director to call action so she could begin her part. Realizing the flashes and gunfire noise was much too realistic, Jo was startled to find herself in a room with two Mexican soldiers who seemed to ...more
Carlos Rivera’s lion side told him that the mysterious woman he initially dubbed as the Ice Queen was anything but. Even as a background search came up empty, she was a mystery he wanted to solve.
