Digimonkey Tips: Creating a Buy Now Account

Recently, Digi’s been doing a lot more of her ebook shopping on the go, grabbing a moment here and there to add a new release to her Library. That’s where the Buy Now feature at All Romance comes in handy!

Buy Now bypasses the shopping Cart and sends Digi directly from the Search results page to the Payment page, with no need to enter her credit card information.  Just a few clicks and she’s downloading and reading.  However, before Digi could take advantage of this wonderful time-saving tool, she had to set up a Buy Now account.  And you can, too!

Step One

Login to your ARe/OmniLit account and go to your Customer Profile by clicking on the Account link at the top of the website header.

Step Two

At the top of the Customer Profile, click on the “Manage my ‘Buy Now’ purchase account information” link.

Manage Your Account

Step Three

The My Payment Profiles window will appear.   First you will need to click on the small white check box to confirm that you understand that Secure eReader books cannot be purchasing using the “Buy Now” option.  Then you can enter a Profile Name if you’d like, which is helpful if you want to set up more than one Buy Now profile. Or you can leave it as Default.  The Profile Email listed will match the email associated with your ARe account.

My Payment Profiles

Step Four

Fill in all of the credit card information for the card you would like to use for your Buy Now account. It’s best to have a copy of your most recent statement handy to insure all of the fields match exactly. When everything is filled in, click the “Create Profile” button.

Enter Your Credit Info.

Congratulations! You are now set up to use your Buy Now account.

One important note: Because the Buy Now option bypasses the Cart, you DO NOT want to use it whenever you are redeeming a Buy 10 Free Book code, because it will bypass the Discount Code box and charge you for the book.

With that little cautionary note in mind, you’ll be able to enjoy all the perks of this wonderful All Romance/OmniLit tool.  Happy shopping!
