Digimonkey fondly recalls a time in her not-too-distant past when the only password she had to remember was the one that gained her entrance into the Little Monkeys playhouse in grade school. Ah, those were simpler times.

In the Adult Monkey world, Digimonkey has dozens of passwords to remember, and those passwords give her access to everything from her bank account to her computer, and most importantly, to her All Romance eBooks account!  But with so many different passwords to keep track of, Digimonkey has been known to sometimes forget which one unlocks the wonders of her online ebook Library. When that happens, she encounters an error message that’s the equivalent of a stop sign.

Oh no! They don’t match

But never fear!  Because Digimonkey knows that she can troubleshoot the problem and get the help she needs quickly and easily, and so can you.

Step One: Digimonkey makes sure she entered her email address correctly.  She looks for duplicate or missing characters and also checks that she included the correct email extension (.com, .net, .gov, etc).

Step Two: Digimonkey makes sure her CAPS LOCK key is not on, as the password is case sensitive.

Step Three: If that doesn’t work, Digimonkey knows she has well and truly forgotten, so she verifies that she has added both @allromanceebooks.com and @omnilit.com to her approved senders list/address book for her email account so that she can send a request for a new temporary password. This step is very important as many email servers will block emails generated by the automated service unless the email addresses are approved in advance.

Step Four: Digimonkey clicks on the “Forgot?” link to the right of the “Login here” heading on the login window.

Forgot?

Step Five: She enters her email address in the text box and clicks “Submit”.

And my email address is…

Step Six: She checks her email account for the All Romance/OmniLit email containing her new temporary password. She notes that the new password does not match the old password.  It is a new temporary password generated by the system.

Step Seven: She copies and pastes the temporary password into the “Password” text box on the login page, enters her email address, then clicks “Log-in”.

Step Eight: Once she’s in her account, she goes to “Account” and scrolls to the bottom of the Profile page. She enters a new password of her choice in the “Change Password” and “Verify Password” text boxes, then clicks “Update”.

Choose your password!

Step Nine:  A confirmation page appears with a “click here” link to confirm the change to her account.  Digi clicks on the link and she is returned to her Customer Profile.

I’ve confirmed!

Step Ten: Digimonkey logs out of her account and then logs in with her new password to make sure it works.

Now Digimonkey is ready to indulge in one of her favorite pastimes…shopping for ebooks!
