Just opening things up here, what are peoples opinions as to the importance of having beleiveable characters in fiction, where the work of fiction is tryiong for realism? Is there any vaule in creating Uber Hunky guys as heros?-
Personally, I think the characters are the life of the story, so they have to be as “real” as the person sitting next to you. If they aren’t properly fleshed out and well developed, it’ll be impossible to get into the story.
