’Two Man Team’ by Jet Mykles has a jock and a geek who have been friends for a while. I can recommend it. Although it is the second in a series it can easily be read as a stand-alone.In reply to - Donna Ash posted an update in the group Mmmm… M/M Romance: I do like an out/gay for you but I also like a bit of opposites attract (mmmm… conflict!) particularly the old hot/not geek/jock. I also love when you get […] · View -

I really like Edward from Lynn Lorenz’s ’Edward Unconditionally’. It’s part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Also Acer Adamson’s Max & Skyler series features a character which is less than butch. book 1 – Only Words book 2 – Any Excuse (Acer Adamson = Jaye Valentine)In reply to - jayhjay posted an update in the group Mmmm… M/M Romance: I have two specific tropes I am looking for and I am hoping you fine folks might have some suggestions for me. 1) I am looking for books with a more […] · View -

It sounds like ‘The Vampire Shrink’ by Lynda’s Hilburn. It has a shrink, a vampire wannabe, a charismatic vampire leader who paints. But they all live in Denver. Nowhere near Texas. For that you’d need to read Diane Whiteside’s aptly named ‘Texas Vampires’ series. But I don’t know whether or not they feature shrinks, vampire wannabes,…[Read more]In reply to - Sheri Vidal posted an update in the group Anyone? The story is ’Beginning to Believe’ from the anthology ’Bus Stories and Other Tales’ by Sean Michael. I checked Are and this story is given as excerpt for the book. So i’m 99.99% sure this is the one you’re looking for.

Definitely Linda Howard’s ”Open Season”. One of my favourite Linda Howard books. Just thinking about certain scenes in this book makes me laugh.
